What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They cause no harm to your device. Some are strictly necessary for a website to work; others are only used with your consent. Both kinds are used here, and the table below says which is which.
How we use cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a technically functional website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); storing them on your device requires no consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. There are two of them, and neither is used to measure anything.
All other cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). They come from four services loaded through Google Tag Manager: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta pixel. Until you consent, none of these services is loaded and none of their cookies exists. You can withdraw your consent below at any time; refusing costs you no functionality. The privacy policy describes each service in section 7, with provider, purpose, recipients and storage period.
The four legal pages – imprint, privacy policy, cookies and terms – load none of these services, whatever you choose here.
Cookies used on this website
The Set by column matters for withdrawal. Cookies set by this website we can delete, and withdrawing does delete them. Cookies on a provider’s own domain can only be removed from that domain, so they are out of our reach; after a withdrawal they are no longer sent, because the service that reads them is no longer loaded. To remove those as well, use your browser settings.

Your choice
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in a technically functional website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); storing them requires no consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. Google Tag Manager is loaded only with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), and you can withdraw it here at any time with effect for the future.
Withdrawing does more than change this setting: the cookies already set for measurement are deleted with it.
